MKE has the knowledge and experience to handle for this requirement for ISPM 15 Standard. This is an international standard developed by International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) to treat wood materials of a thickness greater than 6mm. The purpose of this treatment for wooden packaging used to used to ship products between countries to prevent the spreading of disease and inserts that can negatively affect plants or ecosystems transferred from international transport. ISPM 15 covers all wood packaging such as pallets, crates, dunnages, etc., requiring that they be debarked and then heat treated or fumigated with methyl bromide and stamped or branded, with a mark of compliance. This mark of compliance is colloquially known as the "wheat stamp".
